Upcoming Trips

Dubrovnik, Croatia
Old Town

The best way to experience what I mean when I say “Travel Julia’s Way” is to travel WITH me! I’ll continually update this space with opportunities for you to join me on upcoming trips, and also to let you know where you might be able to meet me during some of my independent travels. Obviously, 2020 had different ideas for us, but I know that one day we will be able to hit the road again together, and plans for 2021 are already underway! I also know that PLANNING a trip can give you the same endorphins as actually being on a trip, so if you have an idea for you and your friends (or colleagues or club-mates) to take, but want an expert to help do the heavy lifting with logistics and planning – let me know!!

Next Trips

Thanks to continued restrictions due to the pandemic, most travel plans are still up in the air. When things open back up, I’ve got SEVERAL trips in mind, from France in the fall to Africa in Summer 2022. Stay tuned!!

  • April 22nd – 25th: Weekend away in a cabin in the mountains of NC to reunite with some friends. Western NC is SO beautiful in the spring, so I hope to see some fast-flowing waterfalls and early spring flowers!
  • May 29th – June 6th: My Mom and I decided to jump on a great sale for one of her bucket list trips: The Mississippi River with American Queen Steamboat Company! There is some availability to join us (and some of my fellow GTN advisors, which is why I chose this sailing). Book before 3/31 to get some amazing savings!
  • June 12th – 19th: Beach week in Litchfield, SC. Because summer school opportunities for the kiddos were looking more certain that summer travel opportunities in Europe (and messing up our timing), my family decided to pivot back to a week at our favorite beach again this year.
  • September 30th – October 10th: Mom & I finalized our Douro River cruise with Tauck on a different date than we’d hoped because our preferred date sold out on us!! We got one of the last three cabins available on this sailing at the time – I told you space in 2021 was at a premium!

Potential Future Trips

  • July 2021: With Iceland opening up, I may try to finally make my first visit there, before it gets too crowded again!
  • October 2021: Depending on France’s status with international visitors, I may try to visit Provence & the Cote D’Azur, probably directly after my river cruise.
  • Early Summer 2022: It’s sounding like I might have a group of Grandmothers, daughters, and granddaughters river cruising through France – if that sounds like something you want to join, let me know!
  • Summer 2022: I have some clients interested in my hosting a mega, pan-African trip! They’re wanting to do it ALL, so we would go from South Africa to Victoria Falls to Kenya to Uganda over about three weeks. If you’re interested, let me know – we are going to keep this a small and intimate group.
